The range of wines looks to be extensive acrosss both New and Old Worlds, but there does not appear to be a specific specialisation or rationale behind the choice of bottles. Many big, familiar reliable names will be found. The site looks easy to navigate – but personally I would prefer to know who is beind this site and what their “passions” are. For independent wine merchants to prosper they need to differentiat themselves from the supermarkets andhigh-street chains – I wish wearewines.co.uk well – their facebook, twitter feeds and competitions should help
