The Theatre of Wined describes itself as a “Purveyor of fine wines, rare beers and exquisite spirits”
We offer all the traditional services of a wine merchant, including glass loan and free local delivery, as well as a very popular series of tastings and a members wine club
At first glance the website looks appealing – some nice design elements, and their wine list certainly looks interesting with a wide range of quality wines such as Terlano Gewurztraminer Classico 2007 from the Alto Adige in northern Italy “Quite one of the loveliest Gewurz. we have tasted in a long time. … it doesn’t have the richness of many Alsace wines, but has wonderful aromatics and purity” and some quirly choices such as a Swiss soarkling rosé Mauler Brut Rose NV.
However the site does not quite do justice to the wine selection – with no on-line ordering *just download an order form and wine list or phone) and the navigation and wine selection is a bit minimslistic.
