On 6 May 2009 The Butlers Wine Cellar in Brighton will be holding a tasting which is targetted at encouraging consumers to use independent wine merchants (such as Butlers) – a theme close to our hearts. Carefully selected wines, personally chosen often at the vineyard – and selected on the basis of quality and interest rather then to a specific price point, with knowledgeable staff who can tell you more about the wine and its provenance – and who can advise and point you towards those wines which you will enjoy.

We are well aware that some of you travel over to the dark side, called, less than super market world! We think that independents offer great value on wines between £5 and £10 per bottle, after all, this is what we do for a job so should be able to find something decent. We urge you to come and try what we can offer at affordable prices.
