A quick note from Planet of the Grapes, that dynamic little merchant crouching down New Oxford Street in London.
Due to a cancellation they have 4 places left at a food and wine matching night (Tuesday the 27th February). Tickets are £40 which will allow a tasting of 9 delicious pairings such as oysters and champagne, duck breast and pinot noir and sauternes with rocquefort and brioche.
On Tuesday 3rd April their tasting will be with Champagne Gosset and Frapin Cognac.
We will be tasting the full range from this brilliant family run house from the N.V. right through to their Grand Marques, Celebris and Celebris Rose. The night will be rounded off with two top-end Cognacs from Frapin – including the VIP XO. All this and some lovely food for just £50 per head. There are only 20 places available so get in quick to avoid disapointment.
