To the derision of many Hardy’s has retained their domination of UK wine sales by beingthe top selling brandin the UK, beating rivals Gallo down to second place. Sales for Hardy’s though were 2% down on last year.
They are recognised for their generous support of a Wetland centre in South Australia’s Riverland, but less well-known is their ‘Garden’ in Cornwall’s Eden Project that opened last April.
The garden incorporates a ‘garden of ideas’, “highlighting the positive impact good gardenng practice can have on the environment. It showcases alternative and sustainable, yet practical and realistic solutions”.
