Food and Wine Emporium Lewis and Cooper of Northalleron, North Yorkshire is hosting a great opportunity to meet one of Australia’s most successful winemakers.

Bruce Tyrrell’s family began winemaking in New South Wales 150 years – or five generations – ago.
On Tuesday, May 5, he will give a tutored wine tasting at fine food and drink emporium Lewis & Cooper, in Northallerton.
Danny Cameron, Lewis & Cooper’s award-winning wine consultant, said:“This is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand about one of New World wine’s biggest success stories. Bruce and his family are now in their 151st year of making individual wines of character, flavour and integrity.”
Mr Tyrrell will present several of his wines, both red and white, and will include famous bottlings such as Tyrrell’s Vat 1 Semillon and Tyrrell’s Double Barrel Shiraz.
Special discounts will available on the night. Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £10 per person, and must be booked in advance by calling Kate Wintersgill on 01609 766702, or from the store’s customer services desk.
